Durham Lifting celebrates #GLAD24
Amanda Gardiner, MD, Wan Djawad, technical director, and Emma Stonehouse, sales manager, Durham Lifting tell us why they are supporting LEEA #GLAD24.
“I’ve been in the lifting equipment industry for 35 years and really enjoy what we do. We offer a good service with good quality products, and we design and build our own branded products such as our MultiSec range, which includes Modular Spreader Beams, Lifting Frames, Lifting Beams, Bars, and other lifting equipment.

Djawad carries out all the design work for its lifting equipment, and said he was ‘glad’ to work in lifting because it allows him to practice something he enjoys, namely seeing a product being made, testing it then seeing it onsite and “knowing we’ve had a hand in ensuring the equipment has been produced safely and the job has been done right.”
Stonehouse has worked in the industry for 28 years and says she has seen many changes within that time and growth in the sector.
“We have a responsibility to ensure we provide quality products and a quality service. I’m very proud of the services and products we are supplying and the growth of our MultiSec range and I’m very excited to see what the future holds.”
