Find out about our terms and conditions for delivery, cancellations and refunds.

 

Delivery

For deliveries within the UK, we send items by Royal Mail 1st class or APC couriers, who deliver next day to the mainland.

For deliveries outside of the UK, we use Royal Mail airmail or DHL couriers. Delivery times are subject to customs inspections so can differ widely.

Please note that Royal Mail / Airmail is our standard delivery method, unless stated otherwise or the service has been paid in advance.

If you require anything urgently, please contact us and we will do our best to get it to you as quickly as possible.

 

Payments, Cancellations and Refunds

Our payment terms are as follows

  • Payment is required at the time of booking courses, or ordering publications
  • If an invoice or proforma invoice is issued, payment must be made within our terms of 30 days nett  (*)

*If a practical or zoom training course is booked within 35 days of the course start date, a proforma invoice will be issued and payment must be made in full prior to the start date of the course.

If payment is not made at the time of booking/ordering our services will not be issued until payment is received in full. This rule covers all services that LEEA offer, for example, membership application or subscription fees, all training bookings and publication orders.

 

Publications

Refunds are not available on publications.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.

E-learning booking form

Eligibility for Training

  • Trainees must be 16 years or older
  • Trainees must be employed by a LEEA Member or registered with LEEA as an Individual Trainee
  • Trainees must have passed the LEEA Foundation or previous Part 1 Entry course to complete a Diploma
  1. LEEA must be informed at the time of booking if a trainee has additional needs. Depending on what assistance and accessibility arrangements are requested, we may need to see evidence of the trainee’s additional needs. Further information about this is available on request.
  2. Payment for the e-Learning training course is required in full prior to any course enrolment. If payment has not been made, the delegate will not be enrolled onto the course. No member shall re-sell places on LEEA e-Learning courses to other companies or individuals.
  3. Credits will not be given to members if the course booking is cancelled or amended after the delegate has been enrolled.
  4. A £50 administration fee will be charged for any student wishing to change their course version/language following the course enrolment. This is only available for those who have not completed their course, and the fee must be paid prior to the changes being made.
  5. All parts of the E-Learning Training Booking Form are to be completed, and it is essential that the employer's declaration or individual trainee declaration is signed.
  6. Students have a 12-month period from the date of enrolment to complete the training course in full and pass the required assessment. Any student who does not complete the course and pass the respective assessments within the 12-month allowance will be required to complete the course and assessment again at full cost.
  7. Diploma certificates will not be issued unless the LEEA Foundation Certificate assessment has been passed. All results, certificates, and Team Cards (where applicable) will be sent to the company training contact.
  8. Feedback - LEEA is unable to release any assessment papers or send any extracts of information from them to companies or Individual Trainees. In the rare event that you wish to challenge your assessment result, your LEEA contact must email assessments@leeaint.com with the necessary details. Emails sent from candidates (other than Individual Trainees) will not be responded to. Your complaint/appeal will be dealt with by our team who will in turn respond to your LEEA contact with our findings. In all cases, the decision of the Deputy CEO (Chief Examiner) will be final.
  9. Force Majeure - neither LEEA or the member/individual trainee shall be liable to the other for any failure to perform any part of the agreement which is due to an event beyond the control of either party, including but not limited to terrorism, war, Political insurgence, strike, riot, civil unrest, act of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood or any other natural or man-made eventuality which may cause the termination of the event.

Please note: any cases of plagiarism or cheating will be dealt with in accordance with our Assessment Policy (details available on request) and can result in individuals being prevented from taking a LEEA assessment for significant periods of time.

 

Virtual Classroom Booking form

ELIGIBILITY FOR TRAINING

  • Students must be at least 16 years of age
  • Students must be employed by a LEEA Member or registered with LEEA as an Individual Trainee
  • Students must have passed either LEEA Foundation or the previous Part 1 Entry course to attend a Diploma course

Please note that LEEA members must only nominate their own employees for any LEEA training - if LEEA discovers that non-employees are in attendance, they will not be permitted to continue with the training course and certificates will not be issued.

ADDITIONAL LEARNING NEEDS

LEEA must be informed at the time of booking if a trainee has additional needs. Depending on what assistance and accessibility arrangements are requested, we may need to see evidence of the trainees’ additional needs. Further information about this is available on request.

PAYMENT TERMS

Payment is required in full ahead of the course start date and joining instructions will not be issued until payment is received.

Please note that any courses booked within 35 days of the course start date must be paid for at the time of booking, courses outside of this period can be invoiced but payment is required on receipt of the invoice or within our strict 30-day payment terms.

If you have made a booking pending payment, the below cancellation terms will still apply to this booking.

No member shall re-sell places on LEEA training courses to other companies or individuals.

All payments should be made in Pounds Sterling net of all currency charges.

CANCELLATION – COURSE CANCELLED BY LEEA

LEEA reserves the right to postpone or cancel a course if the number of trainees or operational demands mean that it is not viable to run the course.

Whilst very rare, if a course is cancelled due to LEEA staff illness, all fees paid by the member will be refunded in full. LEEA does not accept responsibility for costs incurred by members/ITS for loss of earnings or subsistence. Delegates are therefore strongly advised to book accommodation that may be changed or refunded due to such an unlikely eventuality. LEEA will not be responsible for lost deposits or cancellation charges.

CANCELLATION – ATTENDANCE CANCELLED BY MEMBER/ITS

If you cancel the booking or fail to show for the course, refunds will not be given. If the invoice has not been paid, or the booking is cancelled within the below policies we will invoice for the appropriate cancellation fee

Credit notes or transfers to alternative courses are available in this event, aligned to the cancellation periods stated below.

Cancellation within 7 working days of the commencement of the course = 50% of the course fee

Cancellation within 2 working days of the commencement of the course = 100% of the course fee

SUBSTITUTIONS

If a delegate becomes unavailable before the commencement of the course, a substitute may be nominated.  Substitution once the course has commenced is not accepted

Practical Training booking

ENTRY FOBS

Electronic entry fobs to our Huntingdon Training Centre are issued to all students on arrival, and should be returned to the

Training Specialist at the end of each day. An administrative charge of £25 is payable if a fob is lost, not returned or damaged

Assessment Booking

  1. All parts of the Assessment Entrance Form are to be completed. It is ESSENTIAL that the EMPLOYER'S DECLARATION or INDIVIDUAL TRAINEE DECLARATION is signed.
  2. LEEA must be informed at the time of booking if a trainee has a learning difficulty. Depending on what assistance and accessibility arrangements are requested, we may need to see evidence of the trainee’s learning difficulty. Further information about this is available on request.
  3. The completed online assessment booking form should be e-mailed to assessments@leeaint.com and bookings must be made giving the office at least 5 UK working days notice.
  4. Credits will not be given to members if we are notified of any cancellation 28 days prior to your chosen assessment. Individual Trainees will not receive a refund for any cancellation once the assessment has been booked.
  5. Any request received to change a confirmed assessment booking, up to 8 working days prior to the assessment will be subject to an administration fee of £50 per candidate. No changes of any assessment details after this will be accepted. Any candidate that does not attend a booked assessment for which their voucher has been used, will have been deemed to have spent their voucher.
  6. All completed Assessment Entrance Forms must be forwarded to LEEA as separate pdf/word documents as each form is stored individually against the employee’s LEEA database record. Each pdf/word document can be attached to one covering e-mail.
  7. Advanced Programme certificates will not be issued unless the LEEA Foundation assessment has been passed. All results, certificates and Team Cards (where applicable) will be sent to the company LEEA or training contact.
  8. Force Majeure - neither LEEA or the member/individual trainee shall be liable to the other for any failure to perform any part of the agreement which is due to an event beyond the control of either party, including but not limited to terrorism, war, Political insurgence, strike, riot, civil unrest, act of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood or any other natural or man-made eventuality which may cause the termination of the event.
  9. Feedback will not be offered to any company/candidate regarding assessment results unless in exceptional circumstances (to be decided by the Training Manager). LEEA is also unable to release any assessment papers or send any extracts of information from them to companies or Individual Trainees.
  10. A candidate failing any LEEA assessment will be subject to a 30-day waiting period before the candidate can retake the specific assessment. This is to allow the individual sufficient time to re-visit the LEEA training material and continue with revision studies before the next assessment.
  11. Candidates who fail the examination will be able to re-sit at a cost of £75 (plus VAT where applicable) for employees of member companies, or £120 for Individual Trainees subject to the normal examination re-sit process.
  12. The LEEA privacy policy can be found here, https://leeaint.com/privacy-policy and will be required to be acknowledged and accepted before the online assessment can take place. 

 

Assessment re-sit booking

  3. LEEA must be informed at the time of booking if a trainee has additional needs. Depending on what assistance and accessibility arrangements are requested, we may need to see evidence of the trainees’ additional needs. Further information about this is available on request.
  4. The completed online assessment booking form should be e-mailed to assessments@leeaint.com.
  5. All completed Assessment Forms must be forwarded to LEEA as separate pdf/word documents as each form is stored individually against the employee’s LEEA database record. Each pdf/word document can be attached to one covering e-mail.

Individual Trainee Scheme

You can cancel your individual trainee registration within 30 days of approval and receive a full refund. After the 30-day period, no refund will be offered regardless of whether or not you have accessed any of the services provided under the scheme.
