Find out about our terms and conditions for delivery, cancellations and refunds.

 

Delivery

For deliveries within the UK, we send items by Royal Mail 1st class or APC couriers, who deliver next day to the mainland.

For deliveries outside of the UK, we use Royal Mail airmail or DHL couriers. Delivery times are subject to customs inspections so can differ widely.

Please note that Royal Mail / Airmail is our standard delivery method, unless stated otherwise or the service has been paid in advance.

If you require anything urgently, please contact us and we will do our best to get it to you as quickly as possible.

 

Payments, Cancellations and Refunds

Our payment terms are as follows

  • Payment is required at the time of booking courses, or ordering publications
  • If an invoice or proforma invoice is issued, payment must be made within our terms of 30 days nett  (*)

*If a practical or zoom training course is booked within 35 days of the course start date, a proforma invoice will be issued and payment must be made in full prior to the start date of the course.

If payment is not made at the time of booking/ordering our services will not be issued until payment is received in full. This rule covers all services that LEEA offer, for example, membership application or subscription fees, all training bookings and publication orders.

 

Publications

Refunds are not available on publications.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.

 

Training Courses

Please refer to the booking form and joining instructions (if applicable) for full terms and conditions.

Instructor Led & Zoom Training 

  • Cancellation within 7 working days of the start date incurs 50% of the course fee
  • Cancellation within 2 working days of the start of the course incurs 100% of the course fee
  • A substitute may be sent if a booked student becomes unavailable before the start of a course. Substitution is not permitted when the course has begun

e-Learning

  • A substitution can be accepted if a student has not accessed the course or completed the first module

 

Assessments

Please refer to the booking form for full terms and conditions.

Members can cancel an assessment up to 29 days before the start date and receive a credit. Cancellation within 28 days of assessment date incurs 100% of the fee.

Changes to an assessment booking, such as a change of date, can be made up to 8 days prior to the assessment and are subject to an administration charge of £50 per candidate.

No changes to assessment bookings will be accepted less than 7 days before the assessment date and no refund will be given.

Individual Trainees will not receive a refund once the assessment has been booked.

 

Individual Trainee Scheme

You can cancel your individual trainee registration within 30 days of approval and receive a full refund. After the 30-day period, no refund will be offered regardless of whether or not you have accessed any of the services provided under the scheme.
