LEEA’s TEAM cards are valid for 3 years. To renew one, you will need to take a short online training session for each of your LEEA qualifications.
TEAM Card Refresher Courses
You will be asked to take a short online training session for each of your LEEA qualifications featuring a review of key information and updates on legislation and standards.
Each course takes around 1 hour and contains a quiz to check your knowledge. There is no formal assessment required. You can download and print a completion certificate for your records and to add to your CPD portfolio.
Our TEAM Cards are now one-time issued cards, therefore on completion of your refresher courses we will virtually update your card with the new expiry date. If you have not previously had a card we will send you one.

Am I Eligible?
To qualify for a TEAM Card, you must:
- Hold a relevant LEEA qualification
- Be employed by a full member of LEEA
How to Renew
We email your company’s nominated LEEA contacts quarterly to invite those who are due to expire in the upcoming months to renew their TEAM Cards.
If you have not received an invitation to complete the refresher courses, please speak to your Company’s LEEA Contact as we require their authorisation via email to renew your card.
You will receive an email with login details for the online training when payment has been received, and you are given 1 month to complete all the refresher courses.
When you have completed all your courses, we will virtually update your one-time issued TEAM Card with the new expiry date, and if you have not previously had a card we will send you one.
Exemption Route
The exemption route to a TEAM Card was withdrawn a few years ago and is no longer in circulation across any in-date cards.
If you previously had an exemption TEAM Card, and would like a new one you will need to complete the relevant LEEA training course. Note that you also need to be employed by a full or development member of LEEA to be eligible for a TEAM card.
