Training Schemes

Opportunities for free training

LEEA recognizes that training is essential - not only in raising safety standards, but also in sustaining the lifting industry by providing suitably qualified engineers.

Below are our current initiatives that provide free training.

75-75 Military Transition Scheme

LEEA has launched a 75-75 military transition scheme as part of our 75th anniversary celebrations.

We are offering military leavers, veterans and reservists the chance to train and receive a work placement in our sector.

We are working with the Careers Transition Partnership to find 75 suitable recruits from the military who we can provide free training to and offer 75 work placements across the UK. The placements are not guaranteed jobs but will offer invaluable experience of two days working alongside experienced staff.

We hope the scheme will make the transition into the civilian workplace easier for those leaving the military whilst providing a pool of talent for the lifting sector.
