Purpose of the Triage Service
The LEEA Technical Triage Service provides general technical guidance to LEEA members on:
- LEEA guidance documents and FAQs
- Recognised industry standards
- Applicable legislation and official guidance
- Established good practice within the lifting equipment industry
The service is intended to inform and signpost to published sources. It is not intended to replace duty holder responsibilities, competent design or engineering assessment, or professional consultancy services.
“The Triage Service provides LEEA members with general technical guidance to support understanding of published LEEA documents, recognised national and international standards, and applicable legislation or official guidance. It is not intended to provide approval, design verification, legal advice, or act as a dispute resolution or decision-making authority.”
The service supports enquiries that fall within the LEEA membership footprint:
“Lifting equipment and lifting operations, height safety and load control, load monitoring and load restraint.”
Where appropriate, we will direct you to the LEEA member directory to help identify organisations able to provide further support, or to a relevant trade association or authority for additional guidance.
