Strengthening industry collaboration through partnership
We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) and the National Association for Scaffolding and Lifting Equipment Malaysia (NASLEM), writes Wee Learn NG, LEEA Regional Manager – Southeast Asia.
This partnership marks an important milestone in our shared commitment to promoting safer lifting operations, raising industry standards, and supporting the professional development of the lifting and scaffolding community in Malaysia.
By working together, LEEA and NASLEM aim to strengthen collaboration across the lifting industries, promote best practices in lifting safety and engineering excellence, and support competency development through education, training and knowledge sharing. In addition the aim is to encourage greater awareness of internationally recognised standards and safe working practices, as well as to foster a safer and more sustainable lifting industry for the benefit of all stakeholders.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the leadership and members of both organisations for their commitment and support in making this collaboration possible.
We look forward to building a strong and lasting partnership that will create meaningful value for our members and contribute to a safer lifting industry throughout Malaysia and the wider Southeast Asia region.
