Standards and legislation update
The latest standards and legislative developments could potentially impact those working with lifting equipment. LEEA has posted its ‘August 2025 Standards and Legislation Report’ at https://leeaint.com/dashboard. This is a service for LEEA members, who will need to log in to access the full report.
This member update advises of several new publications and some new work item proposals. It reports on the progress of continued works and the results of voting on standards previously reported. There are several new open ballots that may be of interest to members along with opportunity to contribute or have their say. With respect to changes to legislation, the report provides updates on some significant pieces of UK and EU regulations.
