Progress and perspective in ANZ
How good is it when a week brings both progress and perspective? Justin Boehm, LEEA Regional Manager – Australia & New Zealand, reflects on a big week last month across LEEA Australia and NZ, which included holding the ANZ Regional Council Meeting in Sydney. Thank you to Matthew Barber for joining us from HQ, and to all of our Regional Council members for the time, knowledge and commitment they continue to contribute to the industry.
We farewelled Rhys Goldsworthy and Navin Kumar from the Council. Thank you both for your contribution over the years. As the Regional Council looks to refresh, it was great to welcome Tim Kurganovs and Armin Sayedi as observers. I also want to acknowledge our current Council members — Andy Campbell, Ashley Thacker, Mark Eberhard, Steve Purves, Mark Dalley, Adam Thompson and Geoff Bower. Thank you for your continued input and support.
I had the opportunity to thank Tracy Bright (pictured with me below) from TCT - Tower Crane Training for their commitment as a training partner over the past two years. As this partnership now comes to a close, I want to sincerely acknowledge Tracy, Warwick Bright and the TCT team for their contribution, professionalism and support throughout.

At the same time, I was reminded that not all parts of our industry are moving forward at the same pace. Poor practice and poor product are still out there, and they remain a real risk. That’s exactly why strong training, industry leadership and a commitment to standards matter. Stay safe out there.
