Super Apprentice!
Joe Coggan of Lifting Support Services – a full LEEA member based in Harworth, South Yorkshire – is one to watch. Joe was awarded both ‘Apprentice Champion of the year’ and the ‘Engineering Apprentice of the year’ at the Doncaster College Apprenticeship Awards 2019.
Held in March during Apprenticeship week, Doncaster College’s Apprenticeship Awards, now in its 11th year, acknowledges apprentices and employers and the contribution they make to their workplace.
The ‘Apprentice Champion of the year 2019’ award is for apprentices who have made real progression in their careers, since their completion and continue to champion the apprenticeship programme.
Joe has just completed his second year with Lifting Support Services. Since joining he has become a solid member of the company’s team, going above and beyond any expectations. LSS says Joe is determined to find a better way, thinks outside the box and has grown in confidence and personal development.
The company is committed to supporting young apprentices in the lifting industry and now has three current apprentices with a view to more in the very near future.
