2019 Golf Day scoreboard
The 2019 LEEA Golf Day was held on 11 July at Mottram Hall Hotel and Golf Club. The association would like to thank Speedy for hosting this year’s event, and the other sponsors for contributing to a fantastic day. The outstanding course at Mottram Hall gave players a real challenge. With the winners receiving their prizes during the very enjoyable dinner that evening, the completion results were as follows:
Brian Nicholson won The Bill Parkinson Trophy for the best Stableford score by a LEEA member.
Justin Beaumont claimed The Derek Brant Memorial Trophy for the best gross score by a LEEA member.
Danny Golden was presented with The Tiger Lifting Trophy for the best Stableford score by a guest.
Danny Golden also won the Andy Holden Memorial Trophy for best gross score by a guest.
John Worley was awarded The President’s Putter Award for the player closest to the pin (John got it in the cup!).
Gareth Newell, Brian Nicholson, Ian McIntosh and Neil Stark claimed the Best Group Stableford prize, where all four scores (131) count throughout round.
Matt Featherstone and Steve Hodgson were Nearest the Pin.
Scott Murie and Danny Watson got the Longest Drive.
