A new phase and continuous development, with a different strategy
We are pleased to share with you that our technical team has written the draft guide for the inspection of lifting equipment and cranes COPSILE, writes Amro Hassan, LEEA Regional Manager – Middle East. The unique thing is that we have returned to consult all members of the association to review the draft and listen to their opinions, suggestions and suggestions in a way that contributes to the development of the draft before its launch, whether by answering the questionnaire directly or participating in the video meetings to review the draft in detail.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to sharing their views in the survey, and my sincere thanks go to the technical team, which attended and contributed to the previous meetings and whose contributions are still ongoing in the upcoming meetings.
The meetings began with the review of the first part with members from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The remaining parts will continue to be reviewed when it is presented with the rest of the members from different countries in the Middle East. The photo above shows the meeting on 3 August 2026.
We look forward to the guide facilitating and simplifying the inspection of lifting equipment and cranes and guiding them towards best practices in line with the latest international standards.
