Entries are now open for the LEEA Awards 2024, the annual occasion for the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association to celebrate and champion members who have raised standards in the lifting industry. Honouring outstanding achievement, the awards represent the Lifting Industry's pinnacle of recognition, offering the ideal opportunity for a LEEA member to step into the spotlight. Whether it’s revolutionising safety protocols, pioneering innovation or driving sustainable practices, there's a category to celebrate unique contributions.
The benefits of taking part are numerous: motivating and rewarding a team, enhancing reputations, raising profiles and elevating success. Not forgetting valuable networking at the prestigious LEEA Awards Ceremony, which will take place on the evening of Wednesday 16th October 2024 at the iconic Dorchester Hotel in London when winners will be announced.
The ten categories to enter for the LEEA Awards 2024 are as follows:
- The Craig Morelli Award – Best Trainer recognises and celebrates trainers from the LEEA Accredited Training Scheme who excel in their profession and make significant contributions to the development and success of others.
- The Industry Leader Award applauds a leader in LEEA’s membership who has been extremely effective in improving and growing their firm. The candidate needs to show evidence of leadership and dynamism which has resulted in growth of their company
- The Innovation (Product) Award celebrates products that demonstrate excellence and innovation in their respective fields.
- The Innovation (Service) Award will go to an innovation in servicing, recognising those who demonstrate excellence and leadership in this area.
- The Kevin Holmes Award – Excellence in People Development will be won by an organisation that prioritises the growth and development of their people, fostering a culture of learning, innovation and excellence.
- The Lifting Equipment Technician is an award that recognises individuals who not only excel in their technical abilities but also demonstrate professionalism, leadership and a commitment to continuous improvement in their field.
- The Lifting Operation Award is for individuals or teams that excel in conducting lifting operations safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Rising Star is an award that celebrates individuals who show exceptional promise, initiative, and potential for future success, serving as role models and inspirations to others.
- The Safety Award recognises organisations that prioritise the health and safety of their employees and demonstrate leadership, innovation, and continuous improvement in safety management.
- The Sustainable Award is for organisations and individuals that demonstrate leadership, innovation, and excellence in advancing sustainability principles and practices.
