LEEA Regional Events announced for 2025

LEEA has scheduled a series of Regional Events for 2025. These are a series of in-person events that will take place over the next couple of months around the UK, kicking off on Thursday 30^th January, between 9am-1pm, at the Holiday Inn Coventry, Hinkley Road, Coventry, CV2 2HP.

There will be lots of interesting talks, including one from THSP, which is collaborating with LEEA across all the Regional Events in the UK this year. Chris Ivey, Health and Safety Consultant Director at THSP will be discussing how to ‘Make working safely easier than not’.

THSP provides businesses with cost effective, manageable assistance in Health and Safety, HR and Employment Law, site visiting, ISO compliance, environmental services and training. They help organisations minimise their risks, giving businesses the tools to build a stronger, safer, and more engaged workplace.

Another talk will be given by Malcolm Peacock, Group Business Development Manager at Modulift. He will take a look at ‘Using spreader beams  - technical overview and safe use’. There will also be LEEA updates on the Academy, compliance and technical issues.

There is no cost to attend the Regional Event, as it forms a key part of LEEA’s ongoing commitment to provide all working in the lifting industry with knowledge, tools and advice to reduce risk and build a stronger and safer workplace. LEEA members are encouraged to share this information across their businesses and with anyone suitable, as all are welcome to attend. 

Further upcoming Regional Events include Derby on 6^th February and Southampton on 18^th February, Milton Keynes on 12^th March, Warrington on 20^th March, Bristol on 25^th March, Sunderland on 1^st April, Sheffield on 8^th April, Glasgow on 29^th April, Birmingham on 15^th May and Bexley on 20^th May.
