LEEA Golf Day scores are in
The LEEA Charity Golf Day, hosted by GAP group, and proudly supporting the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, took place on 15th June at the Warwickshire Golf & Country Club.
As always, it was a great day of golf and networking for LEEA members and colleagues from the lifting industry, with on-course entertainment, followed by post golf drinks and an evening meal. There were of course also a whole series of competitions out on the course and the roll of winners is as follows:
- The Bill Parkinson Cup for best Stableford score by LEEA Member, went to Paul Bodycomb of Speedy Hire with 43 points.
- Harry Milham of William Hackett won the Derek Brant Memorial Prize for the best gross score by a LEEA member, with a score of 78.
- James Josiah of Ridgegear won the Tiger Lifting Cup for best Stableford score by a LEEA guest with a score of 43. James also won the Longest Drive award, for which he received a £50 Lighthouse Golf merchandise voucher.
- The Andy Holden Award for best gross score by a LEEA guest went to Michael Burton of Mr Plant Hire, who achieved a score of 83.
- Simon Luke of Reid Lifting won the President’s Putter Award to receive a golf bag.
- Paul Glover of GAP Group won Nearest the Pin and was awarded a £50 Lighthouse Golf merchandise voucher.
- Joe Weddell of Tiger Lifting was the overall winner of the Par 3 Challenge, receiving golf T-shirts as a prize.
In addition to their cups, Paul, Harry, James and Michael also received Galvin Green Accessory Packs.
