LEEA attends ports safety conference
LEEA exhibited at the Port Skills and Safety Innovation in Ports Conference, held at Portsmouth International Port at the end of March. Dedicated to advancing innovation in port skills and safety, the event brought together industry leaders, safety experts, and forward-thinking professionals to explore the latest developments and strategies in port operations.
Thank you to Port Skills and Safety CEO, Debbie Cavaldoro (pictured above with LEEA’s Matt Barber (left) and Andy ‘Bernie’ Winter) for the opportunity to participate. Port Skills and Safety is the professional safety and skills membership organisation for ports. It works in collaboration with its members to promote best practice and innovation, develop guidance and deliver services to drive continuous improvement in safety and ensure a highly skilled workforce.
“It was great to be in the room with professionals across the ports and maritime sector, and a fantastic opportunity to talk about how LEEA membership and training supports safety in lifting operations,” said Matt Barber, Director of Membership at LEEA.
