Justin Boehm bids farewell

After 7 years and 11 months, it’s time to say farewell to a great organisation in LEEA, writes Justin Boehm, LEEA’s Regional Manager for Australia and New Zealand.  I’ve met some incredible people over my journey and have learnt so much about an industry I had no idea existed before my first interview.

A particular thanks to Ross Moloney for this opportunity and your friendship over the years. To Matthew Barber and Robert Wilson, thanks for allowing me to achieve positive outcomes for our members here. To my colleagues across LEEA around the world, thank you for the laughs, the support and the friendships. There are far too many of you to name, but there are plenty I know I'll remain friends with long after the emails and Teams calls stop.

I also need to thank the current LEEA Australia and NZ Regional Council - Andy Campbell, Ashley Thacker, Adam Thompson, Geoff Bower, Steve Purves, Tim Kurganovs, Mark Eberhard and Armin Sayedi. You are outstanding leaders in the industry, and your support and guidance has been incredibly valuable. Also, past council members Rob Smit, Guy Roberts, Rhys Goldsworthy, Navin Kumar, David Wilson, Mark Dalley and Steve Flint, your contribution to, and those involved in the establishment, have left a lasting legacy.

Most importantly, thank you to all the members. It’s been an honour being a custodian of the Association in this region and I’m proud of what we have achieved together. I am leaving knowing competency, standards and professionalism are stronger than when I arrived.
