This Diploma qualification is essential for anyone engaged in the testing, inspection, examination and repair/maintenance of lifting accessories.

This course replaces the previous Lifting Equipment General (LEG) Advanced Programme.

Duration

Instructor Led Training - 4 days 

Virtual classroom (via Microsoft Teams) - 4 days

E-learning - 40 hours (members only)

Slinging Accessories

  1. Working on site
  2. Examiners’ tools and equipment
  3. Examination
  4. Shackles
  5. Eyebolts & Hoist rings
  6. Chain slings
  7. Wire rope slings
  8. Textile slings

Non-Fixed Load Attachments

  1. Beam clamps
  2. Plate clamps
  3. Lifting beams

  • E-learning (members only not available to ITS)
  • Instructor Led Training at Huntingdon Training Centre
  • Virtual classroom (via Zoom)
  • In-person Training on your premises (members only)

Requirements

  • Passed the LEEA Foundation or previous Part 1 Entry (P1E) course
  • You must be over 16 years old
  • You must be employed by a LEEA member or registered with us as an Individual Trainee
