- Understand and apply key lifting legislation, regulations, and industry standards
- Explain the roles and legal duties of duty holders, including manufacturers, importers, employers, and competent persons
- Identify lifting equipment categories, accessories, and appliances, and their appropriate applications
- Define and interpret industry-standard lifting terminology, including WLL, SWL, MBL, and Rated Capacity
- Understand manufacturer's verification, load testing, and calibration requirements
- Understand supply chain services including manufacturing, hire, testing, training, and consultation
- Demonstrate knowledge of conformity, standards, and codes of practice
- Develop professional awareness of roles across manufacturing sector including those of the manufacturer, designer, importers, assemblers and distributors
- Demonstrate knowledge of conformity, standards, and codes of practice
- Understand inspection and thorough examination requirements of lifting equipment when in service
- Demonstrate professional responsibility and ethical behaviour when representing employers

- No previous experience or qualifications required
- You must be over 16 years old.
- You must be employed by a LEEA member or registered with us as an Individual Trainee
