Member Engagement Services Manager - UK Midlands

Purpose
Running of the Member Engagement Services within their respective allocated areas or regions in liaison with the Head of Member Engagement.

General
To contribute to the overall operation, development and promotion of the association and its core values.

Responsibilities
To carry out the duties as a member of the Member Engagement Team under the direction of the Head of Member Engagement and, in conjunction with the various committees of the Association, to ensure the effective operation of:

1. Membership

1.1. Visiting ( including online visits ) members and prospective members for membership assessment, compliance audits and other regular visits, in accordance with the latest policy requirements  

1.2. Preparing the appropriate written reports for all such visits made to members.

1.3. Provide advice and support to member companies.

1.4. Delivering training courses for which they have been approved.

1.5. Invigilating student assessments as necessary.

1.6. Promoting the technical interests of the Association to their members.

 

2. Administration

2.1.  Act as Secretary for regional meetings.

 

3. Representation

3.1. Liaison between Head Office and regionally based member companies.

3.2. Promoting the association to regional industry.

3.3. Attend meetings, seminars and conferences as may be required.

3.4. Engaging with stakeholders and duty holders.

 

4. General

4.1. Maintaining close communication with the Head of Member Engagement.

4.2. Complying with all local safety requirements, statutory or other.

4.3. Any other duties as may be reasonably required to achieve the objectives of the association.

4.4. To implement the Association’s vision “Lifting and height safety industries which have eliminated accidents, injuries and fatalities”, by application of LEEA’s strategic priorities to:

  • Raise awareness of our Members
  • Professional development of people across the industry
  • Sustainable development
  • Supporting the global industry

4.5. Full UK Driving Licence and passport holder (current).

4.6. Background in the delivery of training would be an advantage.

4.7. Practical and theoretical experience of lifting equipment ( Preferred ) or an Engineering background working in the lifting operations environment.

4.8. Be prepared to travel overseas if necessary.

4.9. Ideally located in the Midlands, UK.
