LEEA launches new membership application process
In January 2020, LEEA launched a new process for membership applications with the aim of improving the level of service to potential members.
We have introduced a pre-audit assessment stage. This is so that we can process all of the paperwork before visiting a potential member, leaving more time to conduct the technical audit and to answer your questions.
New applicants are also now able to choose between a Fast Track or Standard route to membership. The Fast Track route to membership guarantees a technical audit taking place at the company’s premises within 3 months of applying for membership. The Standard route to membership sees a technical audit being held within 12 months of applying for membership. Our membership application fees have been updated to reflect these new routes.
Lastly, the category of Provisional Member now applies to a company going through the process of becoming a LEEA Member. When membership is formally offered, they will be assigned Full, Development or Associate category.
