Alba celebrates its LEEA training graduates
Aluminium Bahrain BSC (Alba), one of the world’s largest aluminium smelters and a full LEEA member, recently held a graduation ceremony for its personnel who have received LEEA Foundation and the LEEA Lifting Accessories (LAC) Diploma certification. Aimed at a beginner’s level, the Foundation Certificate covers common types of lifting equipment used across the industry and basic knowledge of key topics. This course is a pre-requisite for LEEA Diplomas. The LAC Diploma qualification is essential for anyone engaged in the testing, inspection, examination and repair/maintenance of lifting accessories.
Lifting playing a vital part in the company’s production of more than 1.62 million metric tonnes per annum of high-quality aluminium, which is exported to more than 270 global customers.
